Quack… yeah…

Oh we floatin now…

Three ducks driftin on a lazy line

Sun meltin down like a lemon in time

Feet kick slow, not a care in sight

River sayin, “you good… just ride”

Got a little green tucked under wing

Pass it left like it’s everything

Water ripple laughin when we exhale

Sky start bendin like a tall tale

Quack said, “yo… you see that shape?”

Other duck said, “nah… just the haze…”

Third one blinked, then leaned in close

“Man… that cloud just grew a nose…”

Duck God risin out the sky

Green head glowin, orange driftin by

Blowin slow through the evenin air

Whole damn river just stop and stare

Duck God risin, don’t ask why

Big ol beak just smokin by

We just floatin, don’t need a plan

Duck God watchin like, “yeah… you can…”

Water hummin like it knows the beat

Tiny waves tappin under our feet

We ain’t swimmin, we just… exist

River doin all the heavy lift

Passed that leaf and we passed that laugh

Time got folded in half and half

Every ripple feel like a sign

Everythin sayin, “you right on time…”

Quack said, “yo… it just moved again…”

Other duck said, “that ain’t the wind…”

Third duck stared, eyes real wide

“Man… I think that thing just blinked at us…”

Rollin clouds like it’s passin by

Smoke curl twistin from the beak

Whole world slow for a second to peek

Duck God risin, big and wide

Floatin heavy on the other side

We ain’t scared, we just drift and glide

Duck God cool… we just along for the ride
