Holy shit.

I was waiting for a twist; instead, I got one of the realest, most vulnerable and honest pieces I've read on here.

That means a lot to me . Thank you James.

What stayed with me wasn’t any single answer, but the quiet persistence of the question: “Why.”

Each layer strips away another certainty until we’re left facing the place where so many human longings begin. There is something both unsettling and deeply honest about refusing easy conclusions.

A thoughtful and beautifully restrained piece.

Wow. This is absolute perfection! I imagined, at first, sitting in a waiting room, looking at others—until eye contact is made—then smiling. A smile exchanged! Connection.

Indeed, this rolled out with such intensity, it is so personal yet universal. A thoughtful piece. Thank-you for sharing.

Definitely still looking. If you will indulge me, here is Kris Kristofferson's take on a similar thing. https://youtu.be/fMVUILVM0Xw?is=GIvSymiBIYToICdb

This raised a lot of questions, mainly "why" repeatedly but others also. 😜
